Green Earth Growers is a small women owned greenhouse operation, established in 2004. We are located just south of the Twin Cities in Prior Lake, Minnesota. We began by growing quality plants, produce & cut flowers for local farmers, fundraisers, garden centers, landscapers, farmers markets and restaurants. Slowly throughout the years our greenhouse growing space has grown, as well as our farmland. We continue to be committed to growing and producing quality products with an emphasis on sustainability. All our products (plants, produce and cut flowers) are grown in accordance with the National Organic Standards. We are Certified Naturally Grown.

 

In 2008 we started Green Earth Growers CSA. In the beginning we were able to provide about 20 families with fresh weekly produce, now we have over 70 CSA members. In 2014 we began offering flower shares. We love the personal connection that our CSA provides us.

In 2013 we ventured into the retail world by creating, Green Earth Gardens.  We were proud to be able to offer our community sustainable grown plants that are Minnesota hardy and an alternative to the plants you find at big box stores.  Our retail operation closed in 2020.

We are excited to for each new season and all the new goals and challenges that await. We are always experimenting with new plant varieties and growing methods. Growing plants is our passion and a labor of love....we can't wait to share it with you!
