  • We custom grow our plugs in 3 different tray sizes for 3 different uses.  We offer a  128
         size tray,  primarily used for
         growing vegetable, cut flower and
         herb plugs.  A 72 size tray is
         traditionally used for landscaping
         projects because this size provides
         a slightly larger finished plug. We
         only offer a 288 plug tray for our
  onion and leek plugs.

  • We guarantee a 80% germination on all of our custom grown plug trays.  A 128 size tray guarantees  100 plants, a 72 size tray gives you 58 plants, and a 288 tray gives you 233 plants.
         We offer an extensive list of plug varieties in our catalog  
         that are well adapted for our northern growing climate.  If
         there is something that you are looking for that we don't
         offer please inquire as we can usually special order seed to
         accommodate your needs (min. of 10 trays per variety).

  • We will also custom grow trays with seed that you provide for us at a reduced cost.  Acceptable seed can be either store bought seed or hand collected seed, but self collected seed must be free of plant debris and less than one year old to ensure proper germination.  We offer NO GERMINATION guarantees on self provided seed.

  • Custom plug orders received before January 31st will receive an early order discount. Onion and Leek orders must be received by February 1st and all other plug orders must be placed by March 1st to ensure proper growing times.

Instructions & Terms of Ordering

*To place an order you need to fill out the customer information,
choose wether you are using our seed or yours,
the date you would like to pick-up your plants
(this is not your appointment for pick-up),
how many trays you want,
and the name of species and variety.
Please see our Custom Grower Catalog for varieties.

*You  must click the submit button to complete your order and recieve
confirmation. Once we receive your order we will process it
and your will receive your copy via mail or email.....
please look your order over and be sure that everything is correct!

*If you will be providing seed please lable with the kind
of plant it is, and if you have more than one kind lable A-Z, also please
have your seed packets you send in match your order.
Example ( 10 trays of Tomato A, 5 trays of Tomato B, etc)
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE GERMINATION ON YOUR SEED!

*EARLY order discount for orders received by Jan.31

*All Onions and leeks must be ordered by Feb.1 to ensure they
are sown on time. We only do Onion and Leeks in 288 tray size.

*25% Down required with order, balance due upon pick-up

  *Plants must be picked up on the date for which
they are ordered or arrangements must be
made (our greenhouse space gets crowded!)

*You must schedule an appointment time to pick-up your plants,
the pick-up on your order form is not necessarily your appointment date
